Medallion Mangement offers one free inspection a year and upon finding Bedbugs allows one treatment with a spray . in a 8 unit apartment building (with 4 separate buildings on campus ) It is a low income housing facility through HUD and rural development . Cute places but things get fixed slowly .Ive lived here 13 years and Bedbugs had been a probelm on one end of the complex .Its taken about 10 years to make it to my end . At one point they had a maintenance person trained to do Heat remediation , Since he left they just offer a once a year inspection with a dog . spray onceand then tell residents its up to them to fix the issue .A new couple moved in next door I had noticed Discarded mattresses and furniture that I had seen carried upstairs with said new neighbors . I was just told to pile my things in bags in the bathroom vacume and wipe shelving down , I was not given proper and extensive instructions and It concerns me very much that several people who live in these places are mentally and physically handicapped . They offer no help to these persons and some may not even understand how important it is . , many do not react to bedbug bites as it is . so they don;t treat anyplace where no one complains ,,,Many here have no resources to fix the issue .I am one of those people .I have had to do my own research and at best with whats avaliable to keep them at alow nibble .
