2/23/17 1:45 am my boyfriend, three year old son, and I were here for medical purposes. we were booked at this hotel under medicade. we were so tired after long hours at the hospital and early mornings, we checked the beds and the couch. I noticed the room smelled a little funky. my son and I took the bed closer to the window, and my boyfriend slept on the other. He woke up itchy jumped out of bed looked at the sheets and a bed bug was on the top sheet and he had 12 bites left shoulder to the neck. I called the front desk to let them know about the situation and all they can do was put us in a different room. we moved right across the hall. we had essential oils that help deter and kill bed bugs, so we sprinkled the room with them. we had to pay for the roll of quarters to do our laundry and we checked the bed in the room we moved to. there was hair all over the sheets and tobacco like dirt on the mattress pad. we had to wait til the manager got in the next morning at 8. We talked to the manager and he gave us a refund of the quarters and he was really really nice to understand what happened. the manager had his staff take a look in the room, but nothing else happened. my boyfriend and I didn't get a wink of sleep that night after we found the bed bug.
