Stayed Aug. 4, 2017 through Aug. 7, 2017 (started itching upon arrival and found bugs on Aug. 6, left following morning) Upon arrival we started itching and noticed how filthy the place was (there were hair and stains on the sheets, outlets without covers, broken blinds and curtains, etc) and became concerned. We ended up buying sheets the next day to cover the furniture, since we were all itching so badly. The third night we found blood streaks on our sheets and then bugs. We were not sure if it was a bed bug, but we took a picture and confirmed it with two different pest control companies. We notified management, who looked at our cabin the next day and said it would have to be discussed with the owner. There was never a response and we were charged $940 for a 7 day rental, when we stayed 3 nights and have paid hundreds of dollars in time, medicine, doctor appointments, washing, and vacuuming trying to get rid of bed bugs AND scabies. Our poor children have been traumatized and quite frankly so have we. We have never experienced a nightmare this bad.
