I moved into these apartments because they were affordable for me. The first night I slept on the floor and my parents slept on the bed, I noticed the next morning I had itchy bumps on me but I assumed It was from moving and being outside. Later On, I was sitting on my Couch and literally felt a presence behind me and I turned around and there was a bed bug crawling up my wall. I instantly knew what it was. I inspected my Couch and found a shed shell. I wrapped all my belongings in plastic and bought bed bug covers for my bed. I informed my landlord and they did not cover any cost for the coverings. About a week later they moved me into another unit. I felt they were dishonest about the issue and knowingly placed me In a unit that had been beg bug infested previously. A couple months later after being able to financially afford moving again, I breeched the lease and moved out. They were somewhat decent human beings about the issue but still should have FULLY addressed it before moving me In to the first unit! It literally haunts me even now.
