Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My children and I have gotten bit multiple times. At first I had gotten weird brusing. Then came the bites with the bruising. This occured over 2 months. I told the landlord. He sent a neighboorhood maintenance man who sprayed store bought bug spray and refused to put us up in hotel for the night while the spray dried. Needless to say we had to evacuate our home and trash everything in it because the infestation took over. The landlord did not care and asked when would be out so he could rent the place because he was losing money. U had Clark pest control come and evaulate the problem and they confirmed the presence of bed bugs.
