Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

The building has been continuously infested with bedbugs for at least 10 years. After the intiial report, which came from me, the landlord, Abie Label & Associates and building manager refused to deal with the problem. Only after the bedbugs had spread to other apts. did they hire an exterminator. This has been going on for years, and they are always slow to respond and deal with the problem. Last year I once again found bedbugs in my apt. and this time the response was to evict me, claiming they could not treat my apt. No attempt, however, was made. Meanwhile the bugs are spreading once again. I lost thousands of dollars of possessions, incidentally, being incapable of moving (I\'m a senior) everything and not wanting to take bedbugs with me anyway.
