Our overnight stay here was pleasant with the horrible exception of getting eaten by bed bugs. I was sleeping in the bed closest to the bathroom and my son in the other. He did not get any bites. I reported the bites the following day and didn't get much of a response. The following day I spoke with the General Manager who refunded 1/2 of our stay and agreed that he would be sure to have the room inspected and taken care of. I asked him to provide me with some kind of evidence that the inspection had been completed so that I could include that here but I have not yet received any response since that call with GM. Note that the value for price rating is true sans the bug situation. It's a pricey issue and that's without any bug sightings at home, yet.

1. 4/27/2018 6:00am 2. My wife woke up with something crawling on her face. We recorded the bed bug that had been crawling on her face and found and recorded others. 3. General Manager said he will refund the night’s stay. We were not given any receipt showing any refund at checkout or any receipt at all. We do not want this swept under the rug thus the reporting in all avenues possible. This is a traumatic situation not only having to handle all the post issue steps as sterilization of clothes, and being from out of town we will now have to have the interior of our vehicle sterilized as well as we had to ride home in our clothes today. We will also be loosing other property that can not be sterilized. However, to have it crawling on my wife’s face is something a simple refund will not help as well as medication for the bites on her back or the anxiety and constant feeling of something crawling on her as well as myself.

Nov. 8, 2019. The room was ok. A large suite to sleep 5. The carpet was ok but not bad. There was some rust on the bathroom door frame that I noticed later that night. Internet was slow, but whatever and shower was not super clean. There looked like some mold around the tile. We sprayed it with bleach and it eliminated the problem. The shower water was cold to lukewarm. Hubby and kids were not happy but we were going to make it work, until we headed to bed and found two bed bugs there. BED BUGS!! We promptly packed up our 3 kids and all our belongings and checked out. Let the front desk know the exact concern. The manager did not call so I called him the next morning. He offered a 1/2 refund and the a full refund after an inspection. He has not done either. Now I am worried we tracked bed bugs to another hotel from this place and most of all that we brought them home. Me and my family are traumatized and the least they could do is to fully compensate us for our stay and cleaning bills. This is my hometown and awful to see how people are being treated. No respect, courtesy or since of pride in their business.
