My daughter, friend, and I stayed in room 906 on 3/25-27/2016. My friend woke up on 3/27 complaining of itching on her back, neck, and arms. After seeing the bites she was scratching, we searched her bedding and discovered several bedbugs. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk. Two custodial engineers came to the room to inspect the bedding. This is when they discovered a bedbug infestation in my friend\'s bed. The manager also came to the room and confirmed the infestation. I completed an incident report with the hotel. The hotel took the matter seriously. They helped us bag up our belongings and offered to pay to have our luggage dry cleaned. They also refunded our stay. South Carolina health department does NOT keep a record of hotel bedbug reports.
