Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Upon arriving, I checked the corners of the bed for remnants of bed bugs. I also checked the mattress, I saw none. The overall condition of the hotel was low, for example, the bed only contained a top sheet. I moved the pillows on the bed later that evening and three small bed bugs fell off or out of the pillow. We moved to a new hotel.

We stayed in the Metropolitan Resort in Orlando on Tuesday, April 19th. The next morning my friend was covered in bites. The severity of the bites progressed through out the day and turning into huge painful blisters.

I stayed at this hotel for two days. Upon arrival the room I checked into had mold on the ceiling so they moved me to 116. This room had an infestation of roaches in the bathroom and the shower was not working so they moved me to another room 134. On the last day upon leaving, I noticed the bites on my shoulder and my arm. I had received a refund for one night because of the infestation of roaches from the previous room so I didnt bother reporting it. But I am very upset with all that happened in my two nights staying there...it is a very dirty hotel. I am disgusted.
