Let me start off by saying, thank you for this page, to at least maybe give the next person a heads up, on an infestation going home with them. I am a local, I have older quiet roommates, so whenever I needed to let loose, I\'d walk down to this motel, for $45 a night, I could be as loud as I wanted, and didn\'t bother anyone, I liked the fact that it was rough around the edges, and cheap, compared to all the other permanent at that time, tenants, I looked like an angel next to them, lol, I was there 2 to 3 times a month sometimes, unaware of any bugs, even though I had heard rumors about them, I assumed it was just that. I had never seen for myself, but also never looked, because I didn\'t want to not be able to go there anymore, until one night I had my boyfriend with me, who I guess is sensitive to bites, and woke up immediately knowing what had bit him, and I looked at the mattress that was already covered with a casing for the bugs, I saw evidence, and lifted the pillow and saw an actual bug, I learned then that, I don\'t either get bit, or just don\'t get a skin reaction to them, because I was fine, so I took a pic, and headed for the office, not to check out, or freak out, just to quietly inform owner of problem and move rooms, well he immediately became defensive and in denial called me a liar and I was shocked because how could I be the first to say something? So I moved rooms, only to find same thing, I sat in a chair until daylight, then went home, I didn\'t go back for about 2 months, until I figured I\'d give it a try again in a different room, surely they took care of the problem, and I\'d be good, but of course I gave the owners more credit then they deserved, because, in the next room, 2 months later, bugs were worse then ever, had a small dispute with owner, because now I felt like he was knowingly charging me for rooms he knew had bugs, that was personal, so I really just want to make others aware of what they may find if they stay there, also I\'d love for something to be done about them so maybe I can have my get-aways once again, without paying an arm and a leg, no matter how cheap a motel is, nobody deserves to pay to unknowingly sleep in a bed that the owner knows has bugs, and refuses to admit it.
