With in the first 5 minutes in the room, my friend was bit on ankle. They stayed and woke with bites on arm and ankles, 2 people. I left and went to the Courtyard Marriott. The friend who stayed Reported to the front desk in morning, showing bites, then sent me email. Good Afternoon, Michelle. March 10, 2016 we checked into the Ramada Inn on Atherton rd, state college, PA, room 241. With in 5 minutes, my friend who was staying in the room too, was bit on the ankle. My daughter and I left immediately, however, my friend and her son stayed. The next morning she awoke to more bites on her leg and her son had several bites on his arms. When she checked out that morning, she made awear of the issue to the office manager who appoligized and said will get exterminator out. I recieved a email at 5pm that day from office manager saying: she was so sorry to infom me that the room occupied that night was confirmed with bed bugs from the exterminator, and will refund my money. There was a group of us that stayed that night, which we made awear of the issue and how to treat. since then, there have been 3 other familys that have been affected from these bed bugs in room 245, 141,145. After looking on this site, it appears this hotel has had several other issues and has not gotten rid of them.
