We stayed at the motel for one night on Feb 13, 2016. In the evening after checking out from the motel on Feb 14, my husband was covered with bed bug bites.

Stayed 4 nights in room 350 from March 16-20. 2016. I was never concerned about bedbugs before and after reading a review on a motel in California that reported bedbugs, I looked up info on them. When we entered our room at the E-Z 8 Phoenix Airporter I checked all the areas the articles had mentioned and did not see any telltale signs. In the middle of the last night i came back from the bathroom and pulled the covers up and I felt something fall onto my chest. I immediately grabbed at ii. It took me a few attempts before I got it, squeezed it and threw it on the ground. Being half asleep I fell back asleep convincing myself it was a piece of lint from the blanket. The morning of the 20th as we were packing I saw a bug that had just come out of the sheets. It was small like a seed with a translucent amber colored head and reddish body and had erratic movement like an ant. I thought \"Oh crap! Is that what I think it is??\" I took a few pictures on my phone which did not come out very well. I picked it up to look more closely at it then I squished it. My index finger and thumb were bloody. We checked the rest of the bed for more bugs or signs of bugs and found one blood smear. A few minutes later as we were carrying out the last of our things we saw an almost microscopic baby crawling in the sheet. My husband had one bite on his foot. Now we know why our mattress was in a vinyl cover, which caused us to sweat all night. We were in room 350 on a downstairs corner. My husband informed the front desk that we found \"bugs\" in the bed. He later called to specify bedbugs and ask that the manager was told. I am now writing a report here and although we only saw one bedbug we are taking every precaution we can to keep these little bugger away from our home. Our car has been locked up sitting on the driveway for 4 days now. I hope our cool beach weather has been warm enough to sufficiently heat the car to kill any \"hitch hikers\". We are also heat treating all our clothes, shoes etc...
