Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My husband moved in before me and the kids moved to San Antonio. He said he woke up with a bug on his bed. That weekend I decided to drive to San Antonio and inspect the apartment. I pulled the carpets in both rooms and found and bed bugs, their eggs, and their fecal on the crevices of the room. I reported and ask for a different unit. The manager was so rude and stated that she will not rent me another apartment and she didn\'t even bother to speak to me but instead related the message to me even tho I was in the office.

7/12/19 Woke up at 5am with bites in a linear pattern on thighs and on feet. I searched the room and found them along the baseboards. Management has done nothing. Several units (9, 14, 21, 7) as well as neighbors have them, and our cries for assistance fall on deaf years. Tenants are left taking care of the issue themselves.
