I awoke at 5am after having slept on top of the covers but with my right arm under the pillow. I looked at my arm and had linear bites that were quickly swelling. My boyfriend immediately lifted the pillow, and we found the bed bug full of blood. We brought it to the front desk, and they retrieved the bug and moved us to the next room. We were told that orkin would be there around 9am to inspect the room for signs of bed bugs and that would determine if we would be refunded or not. Unfortunately, it was very RUDELY brought to our attention by the owners that the normal orkin guy was sick and they had to send out a different guy, coincidentally. When told that we would be doing something about this because our request for a refund was declined and I was told that the bites on my arm were not the result of bed bug bites by the owner\'s wife. The owners continued to argue with me, and were in complete denial that there was bedbugs when we gave them the bug! Unfortunately, the bed bug that bit me may have been carrying a type of bacteria because not even 48 hours later, I have been diagnosed with cellulitis in response to the bites, and had to be given a strong antibiotic. I have had multiple people share their experiences with bedbugs at this nasty place, and I honestly don\'t understand why it is still up and running. I believe that there may have never been a phone call made to Orkin.
