Arrived around 9:30PM ON Saturday 9/27/15 and didn't notice anything that night. On Sunday 9/28/15, my Daughter woke up screaming yelling to me that she just got bit by a bug. We put the bug in a cup and covered it and took it down to the office. the guy said he would put us in another room. So they moved us to 27 and we didn't see anything when we checked, but I had a feeling that they would be in there too. At 5am, my daughter woke up and said that we need to get out of there. She was getting bit. We found more bedbugs in there and took them to the office. The other guy was there and said they would call the exterminator and said that he had just been there and they weren't bedbugs when he was there. He said his bother thew the other bug away. My daughter told him that I would be coming down to get my money back..He said I didn't have to as he was charging it back on my card. Checked today and it has not appeared in account as of yet. Even though the staff was nice and pleasant to us, we will still be contacting the necessary people about this in the Maryland local government to get this taken care of. We don't want to see Ocean City get infested with these things. The Cabana needs to be tore down and area burned to get rid of them and rebuild. I saw after the effect, that there are many reviews of bedbugs being permanent guests at the Cabana. Best thing to do is BOYCOTT that place and STAY AWAY FROM THE CABANA. Just think how many people that are taking the bugs home with them! People like me do not get bit or get an irritation from it so I wouldn't even know unless I would see one.
