Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Woke up the morning to my daughter covered in BED BUG BITES. I then checked the bed and captured a bed bug in plastic cup and brought the bed bug (flat shaped and rusty in color) to the front desk person. The manager did NOTHING, but rather tried to minimize the bed bug infestation by stating "this is only a small bug and we having no responsibility". THIS IS A DISGUSTING HOTEL and management/ownership could care less about their legal and moral obligations!

On vacation from Akron my bf and I stayed here. The first night (3-23-16) there was no problem. The second night (3-24-16) I woke up to use bathroom scratching my side and shoulder and saw the classic welts. I have had bed bug experienced in the past and know the red itchy marks. There are about four on my shoulders and seven near my lower back. I am praying they don't follow me home.

Date of incident #1: October 30, 11:49 pm Live bedbug seen on bed 2 feet away from person sleeping on bed. Date of incident #2: October 31, 10:am Live bedbug seen on bed 2 feet away from person just waking up. Hotel response: Local site said they had been treating but hadn't had any reports in a while.
