Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I was one of several teachers staying at this hotel for a training. On the morning of 10/5, I found a bed bug on my bed. I called the front desk. The head housekeeper came to the room and identified the insect as a bed bug. She grabbed a tissue and picked up the bug & disposed of it. She offered to take our clothes & dry them on high heat for 30 minutes. We requested plastic bags to put our luggage in to transport to our vehicle. The hotel brought us the bags & comped the room. However our school district paid for the room. I had to dispose of several hundred dollars of personal property. I also had 39 bites on my face, arms, legs and feet. It has caused several sleepless nights.

Oct. 28 2022 Seen a black spot on the edge of the box spring and moved the mattress to discover hundreds of bed bug defecation stains. Showed front desk the pics and they didn't seem surprised! Refunded the room.
