On March 24, 2019, we were staying in room #412. We woke up to a massive amount of bed bug bites all over our bodies. The photos show them all in the bed, all over my arms, buttucks area and legs. We complained to management and they did nothing. They send up to another room that was 3 times smaller. We had to spend the whole day washing all of our clothes, suitcases and all. This property is expensive and they should care about their customers and not act like its no big deal. Its a major issue and I am going to file complaints about it.

11-30-19 stayed at shephards beach resort with a friend friday and saturday night. Woke up on sunday to check out sitting in the bed I saw a small bug on the white sheet in my bed squished it a little but it was still moving. Got creeped out and put it in a zip lock back. Went over to my friends bed and there was a very large "NO MISTAKEN" BED BUG... I started screaming and itching immediately....called the front desk to speak to a manager because I wanted to be discreet and 20 minutes went by and I get a visit from one of the cleaning ladies. She tells me oh we check everyday we didn't find anything in this room. Well I'm holding the bag with them in it. She takes them and leaves. I heard her talking in the hallway and she was socializing with other cleaning personnel about how the hotel is not having a nice Christmas party for them....I asked for my ziploc back and she tells me I'll meet you down stairs....went down stairs and spoke to jennifer at the front desk and she went and got cody a supposed manager who really was just telling her protocol for when there is a bed bug report....MY FRIEND spent A LOT of money here and we weren't looking for anything free...I was more worried about not bringing them home. I asked her for the bag back so we could take pictures and make a google review and she refused. Explaining to me that they have to the past control to analyze it. I call BS but whatever.....they were not in the least bit helpful in the situation and literally told me i should have left the bugs where they were.....seriously I was supposed to leave them to crawl while I was packing to leave....We had booked NEW YEARS EVE for the same room and canceled due to their lack of caring. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY THERE!! BEWARE PEOPLE
