My daughter woke up with a rash all over her body. She was unbearably itchy. She went to the doctor who told her they were bed bug bites. With in a day myself and my other daughter developed them as well. My daughter called the hotel and the person that answered said it couldn't be from their hotel since it was recently renovated. My husband called and informed them that she just came from the doctor and she had bed bug bites. The hotel called in Orkin, who found bed buds in the room. We had to return to the hotel to immediately remove all of our belongings so the room could be treated the next day. The moved us 2 floors down, to the opposite side of the hotel and washed all of our clothing. We threw out our suitcases due to fear that they may have been exposed to them. The hotel staff told me Orkin only found 1 bug, however my 2 daughters had over 100 bites on their bodies. I wanted to leave the hotel the same day, however due to a burst pipe that damaged our home, we were forced to stay until a short term rental could be found while our home was repaired. I rewashed all of our clothing, because it was given back to me in the same bags that I put them in. Also, some clothing was still damp when it was returned, so I rewashed and dried everything on the hottest setting. I just want to make certain that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
