Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We have been bitten by bed bugs in the master bedroom on a condo we rented this past week, never being exposed, we had no clue what was happening took off sheets washed then but still kept waking up to black specs and blood, then once we added more light in the room could see the bugs crawling all over the sheets. we have notified owner and told the front desk, we are worried others will have the horrible experience we had and now we are trying to make sure we did not take any home since we were there for the week. We have tried to get them to notify next renters but guess they will find out just as we did.
