Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

The bugs were spreading through the hall. Management did "check" all other units during a routine inspection. However, we later found out that the way management chose to look for bedbugs was tossing up a blanket and declaring the unit clean. They didn't even bother checking other units. Now they refuse to move a tenant to another unit because she is too afraid of her own apartment. There have been no issues in her apartment since Feb 2015 but as most people know that have experienced bed bugs, the effects it causes is not short lived.
