Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

we booked via hotels.com arrived at 10pm to sleep a few hrs before heading north. my daughter laid down on top of the brown comforter BC she had her own blanket, she removed her socks, when I woke up she complained that sethong bit her on her hand, I inspected the mattress edges and didn't see anything. I laid back down on the other bed, 30min later my back is itching and I had a huge welt. Now I was up like ok this is no good and my daughter on the other bed showsw her feet and neck where she got bitten after the hand. We had to leave at 1am The manager and staff didn't object just offered another room.. if this is their ccustom to handling bed big complaints I can see how ita spreading to other rooms. beware! called hotels.com and got a refund!! I hope I don't have any on my clothes and taking it home BC I will sue the hotel for the inconvenience and traumatizing experience!
