Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

First, this is a very shabby motel so of course my boyfriend and I checked the mattress beforehand and didn't see anything that told us there were bed bugs. He left for work I laid down, and I felt a bit itchy but I blamed it on being in an unfamiliar place and being paranoid about bugs. Fall asleep and wake up around an hour later, itchy as hell and see a bug crawling on the blanket by my head. I catch it in a cup and indeed it was a bed bug. I fell asleep again, wake up 30 mins later and see three on the blanket. I have so many bites It makes me feel its truly a large infestation. I rented this room for a week because me and my boyfriend got kicked and not only will they not refund the money, they wont even switch us rooms. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!
