Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed in room #728 for one evening.we checked in very late and I did not detect any signs. However when we woke in morning I opened blinds and quickly discovered a adult bedbug on a wall of our room. I taped it to the wall and alerted the hotel. The claimed it was never an issue and that it wasn't a bedbug. I quickly proved her wrong via photos on internet. She agreed it was in fact one. Lifted bedding a little then offered us anything they could do.My room was comped and the provided plastic bags to put my belongings in. It all now sits in my garage awaiting extermination. I never expected this in a MARRIOT. Obviously this was nothing new as they way she was so unconcerned about the bedbugs.
