Stayed two nights. The first night was nice so I decided to stay another. since I booked my next night the morning after my first stay, I wasn't able to keep my room so I was moved. I woke up the next morning to what appeared to be bug bites. I brushed it off for the morning. After a few hours I started itching on my elbows, neck, legs, and face and noticed huge itchy welts starting to show. after a quick search online of what it could be. BED BUGS!! I called the hotel to give them a heads up and to check the room for other people's sake and my own. I just wanted to know if I the room truly had them so I could take proper procedures to make sure I didn't bring them home and have them living in my home. The receptionist insisted they were not bed bugs and that I possibly had an allergic reaction to the detergent on the sheets. All I wanted was for the staff to check. I was upset he tried to make up excuses as to what it was. This is definitely NOT an allergic reaction. The itchy welts are identical to what I saw online. I would have been content if he would have said he would contact his supervisor to check the room.
