Stayed at this hotel 2/20-2/22/15. On the morning we were checking out we saw a bed bug on the bed we'd been sleeping in. My husband killed it and you could clearly see the blood smear. I immediately called the front desk and they sent housekeeping to our room. She looked at it and said that's what it was and then proceeded to check the rest of the room for a whole 2 minutes and said she didn't see anymore. The only way they offered to help us was by providing garbage bags for our belonging s. We are now out a lot of money doing everything we can to make sure they aren't brought into our home. I've contacted the local health department & Days Inn Corporate Office. I understand this can happen anywhere, but it's how they hotel reacts to the situation that matters. Save yourself a lot of work & money and find somewhere else to stay.
