Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Infestation #1 in January 2014 after receiving a call from office that they were doing "routine pest checks". First time in 7 years of residency. They found very light activity on boxspring. We never saw live bed bugs. Treated and no signs of activities. In May, infestation returned. This time we saw them on the sofa and climbing walls near light plates. We saw/caught approximately 6-7 live bugs. Treatment continued but pest control kept reporting to office we were bed bug free. We kept seeing/catching bed bugs. We moved and left all furniture behind.

Moved in Saturday only stayed there two days and the apartment is already filled with bed bugs and roaches. Talk to management about it and they expect us to suffer till Monday with a 2 year in the apartment until pest control comes out. And we all know that once you see one more is coming and there is no way to fully get rid of bed bugs. Especially since the apartment takes no real precaution to fix the problem for everybody just the ones who report it.
