I am renting an apartment furnished by CORT Furniture. I requested expedited mitigation last week for bedbugs, however the Resident Services office advised the earliest they could accommodate would be 01/12/2015. We eagerly awaited the bedbug mitigation as it has adversely impacted our sleeping arrangements. The bedbug infestation—first identified the morning of 12/24/2014—after my first night in a CORT furniture provided bed/sheets at Pine Ridge—is a significant concern as the bites continue; physical injury continues to result; and mitigation by Pineridge did not take place till 1/12/2015. I have several photos of physical injury caused by the bedbugs I can provide the logical authority within the company upon request. Pine Ridge advised me that neither Pine Ridge Apartments nor CORT furniture accept responsiblity as it cannot be proven that either entity is responsible for the bedbugs. They paid for pest control but were unwilling to provide a discount or other accommodation.
