Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Management thought it was funny & laughed about it after being shown live bedbugs in a plastic cup from the room at 9:30 pm the night of our stay, They then offered another room that was infested with more bedbugs than the 1st one.The didn't offer to launder our clothes to avoid spreading the bed bugs. We then spent from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm locating another hotel to stay in over 50 miles away from the location we wanted to be in. No offer of reimbursement or compensation for the inconvenience. Glad we used a 3rd party service to book the room to be able to get a full refund of our initial payment for the rooms.
