Stayed here in January 2019, checked in around 3pm and everything seemed to be OK. Was around 8pm I decided to pop and grab some takeout, came back to room and was sitting on bed eating the food when I saw something scuttle across the bed covers. Recorded the bed bug on my phone and then squashed it. It was clearly a bed bug. Looked over the bed and saw another one scuttle across. I went to reception straight away and mentioned it, luckily the manager lives onsite however he was no use. I showed him the video, he was adamant it was a baby roach, he came and looked in the room and couldn't see anymore. They offered me another room however after that experience I didn't want to stay there for the night. He wouldn't give a refund as I didn't bring it up within 30 minutes of checking in. Manager and desk clerk were in complete denial that there were bed bugs and there was no apology at all.

I stayed at this motel Friday evening and mid afternoon of Saturday I delevoped over 20 welps on my arm, neck, chest and face. I noticed small blood spots on the pillow that morning but no scratches or scabs anywhere on my body. After researching signs of bed bug bites, that confirmed it. I've had bites before in the past and they were very similar but not this many and not this huge. I'm extremely swollen around them and nothing is stopping the itch. I've called the motel and I'm waiting to hear from the manager
