We stayed here two nights and we got got attacked by bed bugs

I was sleeping and felt something biting me arm an felt a bug. I got up and turned on the light and saw a bed bug crawling off my pillow. I reported to office at 330am and was given another room. I was so paranoid about getting bit again I didn't fall asleep till 5am, and still had another 12 hour drive to make.

Stay: 2/23/22 and 2/24/22 Discovered bites on me Thursday. By Friday morning I was covered in bites. Found several bed bugs on bed. I notified management on Friday. They said they were sorry and would have moved me to another room. I thought why would they want to move someone that has bed bugs on them to another room. I Since then I had to have an exterminator spray my house and my car. I will never stay at a Super 8 again. The rooms were not clean and I did not sense they cared about having bed bugs there.

We checked in very early morning 5/5/22. We went to our room and checked the bed for bugs before settling in. There was a large bed bug crawling on one of the pillows. We reported it immediately to management; they gave us a refund and offered us another room. We did not take another room.

We checked in at about 130am. We were supposed to have a room with 2 double beds but upon entering the room, there was only one bed. The room was also not very clean at all. After cleaning we finally laid down only to be bit bed bugs. We actually found 2 large bugs and put them in a baggie. I then took them to the front desk and requested a refund for the room. I was then told by the desk person that the manager would not be in until 10 am. So we actually slept in our car in the parking lot until the manager/owner finally showed up at around 11 am. I explained to him the situation and showed him the bugs in the bags plus pictures of the bites. He became irate, refused to give me a refund and then threatened to call the police on me. He also stated that we brought the bedbugs with us because his maid had inspected the bed and didn’t see any. But you can clearly see the remnants of the infestation on the creases of the mattress. This occurred on July 1, 2023. So we were out 80$ for the room, we’re completely sore from sleeping in a cramped car and ate up with itchy red swollen welts. Please steer clear of this establishment.
