Me and my family was staying in room 215 at the Extended Stay America. After a couple of days we started to notice bite marks all over our body. We showed the bite marks to staff and advised them to have the room checked for bed bugs and it turned out to be just that. I know that they are not harmful, but it is such an annoyance. We feel dirty and now we have to deal with washing all our belongings and trying not to bring them with me when I check out.

My husband and I stayed at the Extended Stay America in Elk Grove, CA for 2 nights on 11/5 - 11/6 for a short business trip. On the first night, I found a bed bug crawling on him and was scared to death since it was huge. I panicked and immediately flushed it and alerted the hotel management. We told them softly in a polite manners since we didn't want to make a huge deal in front of other guests. We were assured that it will be taken care of. Since I already booked the room for 2 nights, we tried to suck it in and stayed through our 2nd night. However, when we woke up after the 2nd night, I found bed bug bite marks all over my husband's leg and my right shoulders. It was the most horrendous experience ever with a hotel stay...
