I had reserved a room at this hotel for Sun 09/06/2015-Monday 09/06/2015.I arrive at the hotel around 4:00 pm asked the the staff member that was in the front desk, NAME WITHELD, if my guest and I could check the room before taking it and he immediately said I could, but even if I wanted to cancel I would have to pay for the night. I went to the room and I believe the room# was 221. I went entered the room and went straight to the bed to make sure there were no bed bug. My guest and lifted all the sheets off the bed and there they were, BED BUGS & EGGS! I immediately took pictures and went downstairs, to explain to NAME WITHELD the clerk what I had seen. He immediately said he would cancel the reservation and would not charge for the cancellation fee and no charge would be shown on my credit card. NAME WITHELD tried taking us out of that office immediately once we mentioned the bed bugs and pics of them. Once I arrived home, a couple days later, on the 09/09/2015 there was a charge made for that night and I called back asking for my refund. NAME WITHELD and the owner NAME WITHELD said they would not refund because the bed was undone.The bed was undone because when inspecting the bed, there were bed bug eggs in the middle of the bed. NAME WITHELD & NAME WITHELD said that because the sheets were undone, they couldn't let another person stay there until the maids on Monday came and fixed it. They didn't care about the bed bugs! If I would've put the sheets back in place and made the room seem "normal" they would've just left the bed bugd there and let someone else or a family sleep on the infested bed.The owner and NAME WITHELD were very rude about the situation & my understanding was that nothing was done about the bed bugs. In the end they would not refund me for the night and didn't so anything about the bed bugs.
