Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Lincoln Inn on 2/22/2016. The room looked clean and I did my bedbug check as usually do and didn\'t see anything on the top of sheets. As I was getting ready in the morning I found a bedbug in the sink. I panicked and called the front desk immediately they were able to provide me with garbage bags to put my stuff in, as my stuff was at risk of being infested with those pests. The staff member said they were going to close the room. I don\'t know if the bed I slept in had bedbugs as I didn\'t have any bite marks. But everyone who is staying at hotels need to take extra precauction. I have never encountered bedbugs in at my hotel stays until this day.
