Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

IT IS CALLED RODEWAY INN CIVIC CENTER located on 526 Orange Ave., N.E., Roanoke, VA, 24016. I felt something moving on my skin and I killed it. Then I turned on the light to check what was going on. It is a mature bed bug over 5mm. And there is blood stain on my clothes. It was around 5:30 am. One hour later, I reported to the front desk and checked out. I have a test later on. Thus, I had to go. When I came back, I asked for a refund. And the hotel manager refused it. She claimed that since I didn't report it earlier before I checked out, so she isn't able to make any refund to me. The truth is when I asked the front desk to see the manager, I was told that the hotel manager won't be available on the spot until 3 pm. My test started at 10:30 a.m. How could I wait for her to solve it before I checked out? The officer from local health department has reached me after a weekend, confirming that there is bed bug in the room 111 in that hotel.
