Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Prior to going to bed, I found a bug scurrying on the pillow. tossed it in the toilet. I had never seen bedbugs before, so I really had no idea what the bug was. We went to sleep about 10:30. At 12:30 I noticed a bug on my husband's undershirt and when I lifted the sheet, I found another one running. Killed both of them and when my husband lifted his pillow, there were 5-6 of them running everywhere! They moved us to another room (320) but just could not sleep well after the horrifying experience! We also found very tiny nymphs running around the bed sheet. Since the manager was unavailable, I reported it to the health department and they are going to investigate the infestation. They were the size of a pencil eraser, so they have been "hosts" on sleeping prey for quite some time.
