12/23/2018 My partner and I just left after finding several bedbugs in our bed, and trying to deal with an extremely unkind, stubbornly unhelpful night manager. We checked in around 9, went to visit with loved ones, came back and got into bed. Luckily we woke up around 12:45 and turned on the light to look for a white noise machine. That's when we found the bedbugs. We killed the ones we saw, but who knows how many more are crawling on our stuff right now? We went to the manager to ask for our money back, calmly informing her of the situation, and she refused to believe us that the bedbugs even existed, and totally clammed up, simply repeating that the room was booked through Expedia so there was absolutely nothing she could do. I told her (again, calmly), that Expedia wasn't the one that had bedbugs, and she literally said "well, neither do we," even after seeing the pictures I showed her (since she refused to go in the room and look at them). Now I am standing on the curb with all our luggage, freezing, while my partner goes to Walmart to buy bedbugs spray. We don't want to take them with us wherever we go next. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and a public health risk. Avoid at all costs.
