1/28/2019 A police report was filed. We arrived at 12:30 am and my son woke me up at 7 am and asked if what he grabbed off his neck was a bed bug bc it was biting him. We both have bites. We searched room with maintenance guy and found dead and live bed bugs. Management was horrible about situation. They had someone arrive to tell us to leave flashing a gun stating they were police but they were not police. We had to leave and throw away our belongings and no refund. Horrible place to stay.

I am currently taking a week off of work and taking a trip to Florida from Michigan. I stayed at the econo lodge in Dublin, GA. (2121 us. 441) on the night of July 2 to the morning of July 3rd. We (me and my boyfriend) slept through the night and suddenly i woke up to a itchy toe at 8am, which was weird. Then I got up and realized my entire chest was covered in red mosquito looking bites. After further inspection of my entire body I found over 45 red itchy bumps. Then we started searching the bed and room for what it was. We found 2 bed bugs fully grown and a tiny one that i squished and blood spilled out off. I have photo evidence with time stamps of our findings in the room. I brought this information to the front desk, with a bed bug in a plastic bag, told the employee what has happened and showed her a few of my bites across my neck/ chest area. She said she can’t give me a refund because she isn’t the general manager, but wouldn’t give me a number to call or a estimate on a compensation. I would like to be refunded for my room and I should also be receiving some sort of compensation for the fact my body from head to toe (literally) is covered in bed bug bites. I literally have twenty in just one leg alone. Not only did I have to throw away almost all of my clothing and bags I brought into that hotel room which is money wasted. I am now dealing with the fact my whole next week in Florida i will be a itchy bumpy mess covered in bites. Which is very upsetting & VERY uncomfortable. If you have never experienced a bed bug bite the best example I can give is it feels like my skins in crawling.
