July31st 2023 10:00 pm. LONG REVIEW... BUT WORTH A READ. I wanted to be able to leave this hotel a good review. Everything was great at first and everything looked very clean. I was in room 224 and went out to town for some food to bring back to the room. When me and my mom got back my mom had seen a bug on the pillow my grandmother was using. I went and took a picture of it when we noticed it was a bed bug. I went to collect it in a cup to take to the front desk and it had been squished on the pillow causing blood to smear all over the pillow case. We took the dead bug in a cup to the front desk along with the pillow case. We told the clerk what happened and she got on the phone and went in the back office and shut the door. I noticed I didn't have my phone to take a picture (to show booking.com proof on why I was leaving early and to get a refund) so I went back to the room to get my phone. I was told I couldn't get a refund until the room was investigated by ECO-LAB. The issue isn't about the refund. However, it's about the fact there are bed bugs in their hotel and when I needed a picture for my proof to booking we were called names. Sorry to the other guest for the inconvenience caused in the lobby. But this is disgusting and the clerk just happened to pop off on the wrong family. I assume she just wanted to take the bedbug and throw it away but I needed a refund so I got my proof. It's a no for me.
