Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Husband woke up and went to the bathroom where he saw a bed bug on his shirt. He clicked it off into the tub and saw it was a bed bug. Went to check the bed pulled back the sheets and there were 2 more giant fully engorged bed bugs. We killed them and left immediately.

My husband and two sons checked in at just after 10 PM on 12/27/15. Everyone but me had asleep... At 12:30 AM-ish I was up watching a TV show on my iPhone when I noticed a bed bug crawling on my pillow. I got my family up and out within10 mn.
