I stayed at the Extended Stay in Tacoma Washington from July 29th to August 2nd in room 126. I was sick and stayed in bed for the first three nights. On the second night I woke up and say a brownish/black bug crawling on my blankets. I killed it thinking it was a flea considering that they allowed pets to stay there. I didn't think anything about it. Until the following night I woke up to intense itching and burning. I sat up and saw two of the same bugs I had seen the night before crawling on me. I put both in a plastic cup from the bathroom and took pictures. I thought to myself "I wonder if these are bed bugs" because when I got a closer look at them they looked like large lice bugs. I googled" bed bugs" And sure enough, that's exactly what they were. I called my boyfriend and he came to the motel to help me. We pulled the bed out. He lifted up the matress and box spring and what we saw was disgusting! There were old dead bug casings, live bugs, dried old blood along with fresh blood. Assuming "My blood". I took pictures. With my evedence I went straight to the front desk and asked the receptionist to speak with someone from management. She said no one was there. It was a Saturday, so management wouldn't be available until the following Monday. I said well I need a new room. I have a problem. She refused to assist me until I told her I had bed bugs. I tried to keep everything as private for the hotel. But I had to say it in order for someone to listen to me. So she ended up coming to the room and looking. She took pictures of the bugs I had in the cup. Asked me where I found them. I told her that they were in the corners of the matress and bed skirt at the head of the bed. She refused to walk anywhere near the bed and said she was afraid and to just point it out. She gave me a key to another room. Room 310. And gave me quarters to wash two loads of laundry. That was it. I had to throw away my luggage that I had sitting under the bed. I left Sunday, the 2nd. The very next morning. Today is the 6th of August. I had to see a doctor yesterday because since I left from there I have been suffering from severe itching and red blisters/ type welts all over my hands and feet. Some on my arms. I'm having horrible anxiety and sleep deprivation. I also have to cancel plans for a wedding I was planning on attending this weekend because I am covered in these horrible bites all over. I went there for a break. To rest and get away from stress. Instead, I became someone's dinner 😪

June 17,2021 I actually caught one on my things when I washing my hands. I had my bag on the counter and something caught my side sight, internally screaming, outwardly calm I got it in my medicine bottle showed the hotel manager and he dismissed the whole caught a biting creature but took my medicine bottle. I have welts on my inner thigh back of leg hands shoulder, side jaw line 2 between my collerbone boobs.
