On vacation from Ohio. We we're supposed to say June 12th-19th, but ended up checking out early due to bedbugs! The evening of June 12th, myself, my husband and our 13yr old son went to enjoy the pool/hot tub area where my son and husband swam. We were accompanied by a couple who thought they were descrete with smoking pot; obviously that smell is unique, so we went back to our room. The evening of the 13th we went back down to the pool where again my son and husband swam and I got in the hot tub this time, but wasn't in long. I immediately got bit up by some kind of little bug that was in there. We were this time accompanied by 4 "teens" and an adult woman who didn't try to hide their pot, they lit up and were quite vocal about it. We again went back to our room. The morning of the 14th my husband had 4 welts on his back from some kind of bug/spider. I too had more bites than I remembered getting from the hot tub, but we didn't think much of it assuming something got us while we were outside. During the day more bites appeared on both of us. The morning of the 15th my husband felt something in the bed and when he pulled the sheet back we actually saw a bed bug!!!! I took a picture of it and he then flushed it. Disgusted, we packed all of our belongings and went to the front desk to explain everything. I showed her the picture, but she acted like she wasn't aware of what it was. Tiffany, the receptionist was very nice at check-in and obviously very understanding of why we wanted to leave early. She refunded the rest of our stay as well as refunded the night of the 14th. Unfortunately though we now have to suffer the rest of our vacation literally covered from fingers to feet in bed bug bites! I don't recommend you stay at this hotel!
