Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My friends and I stayed here for Mardi Gras and there was an infestation of bed bugs and scabies in our beds. We had to seek medical attention 3 times because they were so bad. Then the hotel said they will cover our medical bills and lied. The manager is terrible, she had to care in the world for us and and did nothing to help us. She told us if we didn't like her hotel then leave, but the other hotels were full and we drove 14 hours to get there and had no other place to go. My friends and I still have disgusting bed bug and scabies scares. Do not stay at this hotel. I almost died. Or stay at your own risk.
