Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I checked into Granada Inn Saturday evening April 30. 2022. Laid down on the bed and fell asleep. I awoke in the middle of the night and noticed a bug, then another bug, and another bug on the sheets and pillow cases. I stopped counting at 12 bugs. I took pictures and video of the bugs. Based on pictures and videos they were bed bugs. I contacted the emergency Airbnb phone number as the Granada Inn office was closed. I did send a message to the LA Granada Inn host to advise of situation. I relocated to another hotel that night. La Granada Inn and Airbnb representatives were responsive and refunded the hotel cost. I had approximately 50 bed bug bites that began to appear several days after my stay. I did not realize bed bug bites can take several days to a week or two to appear. The bites are itchy and painful.
