FIRST THING I DID WHEN I ENTERED THE ROOM WAS TO PEEL THE SHEETS UP AND LOOK FOR SIGNS OF BED BUG, I DID NOT SEE THEM....READ ON....I CHECKED IN ON OCTOBER 1, 2015....PLACE HAS BED BUGS!!! MY TRAVELING COMPANION HAD 29 BITES ON HER, SHE WENT TO THE DOCTOR WHO CONFIRMED THE BITES ARE CONSISTENT WITH BUG BUG BITES. GOT ON STEROIDS & ANTIBIOTICS, I DID NOT GET BIT SO, SO THE DOCTOR COULD NOT CONFIRM IT WAS BED BUGS. WE MADE THEM CHANGE ALL THE BEDDING, INCLUDING PILLOWS, BED SPREAD COMFORTER AND SUCH.. WE WERE GETTING READY TO LEAVE TO RUN ALL OUR CLOTHING THROUGH HIGH HEAT IN A DRYER AT A LAUNDROMAT, TO KILL ANYTHING THAT WAS IN OUR CLOTHS JUST IN CASE THEY DID HAVE AN INFESTATION WHEN WE ACTUALLY SPOTTED A BED BUG CRAWLING OUT OF THE SHEETS. I SENT MY TRAVEL COMPANION DOWN TO GET THE MANAGER WHILE I PUT THE BED BUG IN A CIGARETTE CELLOPHANE. THE MANAGER CAME UP AND CONFIRMED IT WAS A BED BUG AND KILLED IN THE THE CELLOPHANE. HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME HOW COSTLY IT WAS TO TREAT A ROOM, ($2,000.00) AND APOLOGIZED. WE DID RUN OUR ITEMS THROUGH A DRYER ON HIGH HEAT TO KILL ANY HITCH HIKERS....BEWARE STAYING THE THIS HOTEL.

We had a man in our party get bitten on the neck and arms by bedbugs, we peeled back the sheets and there were tons of bugs underneath the mattress. They let us switch rooms, no compensation.

1. Date of incident: 7/13/20 and 7/14/20 2. Bed bugs were found overnight. Hotel staff moved us to a different room. Upon inspection of the room the next day, bed bugs were found in that room as well. Management (who happens to be the owner) was called. His solution was to pick up the bed bugs and throw them in the garbage. Did not offer an apology, refund, or room change.
