We staid at the gorgeous Little Palm Island Noble House resort for four nights. Usually I am an amazing sleeper and I do not wake up throughout the night. The first three nights I was tossing and turning even though the bed was comfortable and the AC on. I could not figure it out, because I was relaxed and tired, so I should have slept very well. Every morning I noticed what I thought were mosquito bites or similar. First a few, then more and on the third morning it was insane looking - my face, my neck, my ears, my chest and part of my stomach have horrible small red small fluid filled itchy painful bites. There are too many to count but if I have to guess I have about 70 to 100 small bites. They are very itchy and are more painful then a mosquito bite or other insect bite. When I got back home from my trip today I googled it because there are CLUSTERS of bites, which I thought was strange. I found a website explaining bed bug bite patterns and they had many example pictures. My bites look EXACTLY like those examples! They said that bed bugs often bite three times close to each other, in a row or triangle. I have those bite patterns. The bites are dark red, raised and bumpy. I am horrified that I brought them home. I hope not!! When I googled if there have been other guests with this problem I found a review on tripadviser from a pregnant woman who also was bitten by bed bugs at Little Palm Island. She said that the concierge was not helpful and made her feel terrible. I will call the hotel tomorrow and complain.
