June 15, 2023 - checked in for long term stay, week to week. June 16th, 2023 - first bites appeared. I've never dealt with bed bugs, I am a young 58 years old. I didn't want to believe it but, found bed bugs and evidence of blood spots on my sheets and bed bug feces deposits on edges of nasty mattress. I have spent almost 3 weeks there, getting bitten. I counted 30 bites on my front, alone! I brought it to Management's attention on July 3rd, then, again, on July 4th. They deny it even though I showed them the bed bug I found, attached to the mattress and, showed them the feces deposits. They said they see no sign of bed bugs but, I have all of the proof I need, in pictures. Although they denied it, they said, once I move out, they are going to "treat the room". If there are no bed bugs, in their opinion, why do they feel the need to treat the room? I had to do everything I could to mitigate the bugs crawling from another room into mine. I am Traumatized by the whole entire situation. I have documented my bites, the mattress and, the bugs, in photos, date and time stamped.
