Saturday, August 26, 2017 Checked into this hotel as part of a larger block of rooms for a local wedding. We napped there in between events and I woke up with bites on the back of my arm and little spots of blood on the sheets. Didn't immediately connect the dots. Came back to the room around 12:15am after the reception and began to get ready for bed. My boyfriend laid down and within a few moments felt something crawling on him. Opened his eyes and there were bed bugs on the pillow next to his face. Pulled the sheets back and found a few more, as well as all along the headboard and in between the mattress cracks. This room has a definite infestation. I was able to get photos as well as a video of one crawling on a pillow. Continued to look and the frames of both beds in the room are infested. We told the staff member on duty and he didn't believe us. He sent someone up and they maintenance staff member didn't know what to look for as he had never seen bedbugs before. It took me showing the video to the front desk guy to get him to believe me. He wasn't able to do anything because there was no management there over the weekend at the time this unfolded. We decided to pack our stuff and make the drive to the city. Just to make sure we don't get an infestation at home all of our belongings will have to go through high heat treatment. We will have to wait and see how this unfolds with management once they are available to speak with.

Bed bugs found in this double bed room. On both beds and behind the headboard of one bed. Front desk staff unhelpful since it was late on a Saturday night/Sunday morning (appx 12:30 am Sunday Aug 27.
