12/13/2018 Had bed bugs in the room (have bite, found bug, and collected in a bag) and still working with Expedia and management of the hotel to refund my room and another room I booked that was part of my party in town for a conference. The front desk staff was nice upon check-in and accommodating when I reported the bedbug issue. They offered to refund the room with bed bugs as well as cancel the second night of our booking for both rooms. However, the front desk staff couldn't give me a receipt of cancellation told me I would be contacted by hotel management. I received the same story from Expedia customer service. It has been over 24 hours and I have not heard from the hotel management. Further, I returned to the hotel later in the day to see if a lost item had been found from one of our party members and the front desk staff was extremely rude. Despite front desk staff person's insistence that the lost item couldn't be in the room because it had been flipped because of the reported bed bug issue and near refusal to let us back in the room, the item was found under the dresser in the room onsite (thanks to a kind helpful staff person onsite), which leads me to believe they haven't taken the extermination effort seriously. The front desk staffer also made a point to let us know that they had exterminators out to address the beg bug issue and that the exterminators couldn't find any bed bugs, despite the fact that I had a bite, found a bug, and had the bug in a bag.

On April 2, 2017 My family and I checked into Quality Inn & Suites North and after being in the room for 10 minutes we discovered it was heavily infested with Bed Bugs!!! We reported it immediately and the clerk's response was "You found them already?" They are knowingly renting infested rooms! We left immediately with a refund. I reported it to the Health Dept. and to Choice Hotels.
