My husband was bitten by a bedbug in the middle of his sleep. He jumped out of bed because his arm was on fire with a welt on his wrist. He captured the bedbug into a cup and we were refunded immeditaly. The hotel employee stated \"that\'s not a bedbug\". When we looked up pictures online and it was clearly a bedbug! Gross!!

I stayed in the room for 5 days, I noticed welts developing on my body but I had no idea it was bedbugs as I had never seen them before. I thought they were from mosquitos so then at 3am I found a giant bug under my pillow which I killed., i googled bed bugs to see what they looked like and I noticed it looked similar so then as I took a closer look at the head board I was horrified! The entire headboard was covered with bed bugs and the 2 tops corners had fecal matter with bedbugs! It was disgusting.. I contacted my hotel and Expedia, the hotel manager said for now she was issuing me a refund for just one night until they make sure the problem occurred before I arrived?! I am extremely upset and traumatized over the entire situation.. I will never be comfortable in another hotel bed again after this.. 7/27/17
